Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Hey Monkey — an app developed and operated by an individual, Pham Vu Nhat Minh. By using the app, you agree to the terms below.

Purpose

Hey Monkey is a tool for recording income and expenses, tracking budgets, viewing reports, and splitting group bills for personal use. It is not a banking, payment, or professional financial advisory service.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe, for all activity in your account, and for the accuracy of the data you enter.

User responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for checking and confirming every transaction before saving — especially suggestions generated by AI. AI may misclassify, extract incorrectly, or give inaccurate suggestions; you should double-check important information.

AI accuracy

AI features may be incorrect or incomplete. You should not rely on app data as the only basis for important financial decisions.

Paid plans and subscriptions

Hey Monkey offers a free plan and a paid plan (Pro) with benefits such as unlimited AI, higher limits, or advanced features. Unlimited AI applies to normal personal use and is subject to a reasonable fair-use policy: we may apply technical limits to prevent abuse, and normal usage is not affected. On Android, payments are processed through Google Play Billing. For subscriptions, the plan auto-renews unless you cancel before the renewal date; you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account settings. Refunds follow Google Play or the corresponding payment platform's policy. We may change the price or benefits of paid plans, and will provide notice when necessary.

No financial advice

Hey Monkey is an app for recording, categorizing, and helping you manage personal spending. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions.

Disclaimer

Hey Monkey is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Termination

You can stop using and delete your account at any time (see the Delete Account page). We may suspend or terminate access if we detect a violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
